Welcome to my foray into Substack newsletters, as I post my stories about my original character, Sapphire Angel. If you want to start from the very beginning, my debut story, Sapphire Angel, Superheroine, is available for free, in its entirety, here on Substack. You can jump in and start reading the Prologue. When you’re finished with that, book two, Power Play, is also available here for free.

What is this about?
I've had this character kicking around in my brain for years, trying to get out. Beth Harper is innocent, determined, full of empathy, and struggling to make sense of her changing life.
My style favors realism over fantasy, or at least as much realism as can exist in a world where the main character possesses superhuman powers. For that reason, you won't see heroes running around everywhere. My heroine is unique in the world, which lets me imagine how our world would react if someone with amazing powers appeared.
How often will I get updates if I subscribe?
This is subject to change, but right now my plan is to post new chapters every Monday and Thursday.
