You know.....if Senator Socrates Chappelle could follow up on those threats he issued to Amal Nassar, that would be great! Making a few phone calls “for his loved ones to start disappearing”? Can Majid Azari be first? Or the silver-eyes man he works with? Though.....I guess Azari’s not really a “loved one” so much as he is an employer. Chappelle’s probably talking about his friends, family, and people like that. But.....in a twisted way, if he were to make good on those, he’d actually be helping us out quite a bit. Unless Nassar has an efficient way of responding, that is. And he most likely does, considering he works under the guy who wishes to start a terrorist organization larger in scale than even ISIL or Al-Qaeda.

Reminds me of the time when a pair of shoes accidentally had “Al-Qaeda” printed on their sides instead of “Adidas”. Many laughs were had that day. But I’m digressing.

And it seems as though Jennings’ side job of acting as Chappelle’s security is about to come back to bite her. This could go so many ways. Maybe Chappelle will realize she’s been snooping and punish her for it. Or Will Cooper could decide to not work with Jennings at the last minute and leave her hanging. Or Sapphire Angel could just not get the voicemail on time. Or some combination of the three. I really hope she doesn’t get written off for “disobeying the rules”......sometimes you’ve got to be willing to put heroism over lawfulness. What’s right by morals always trumps what’s “right” by rules. If she does get punished in some way......I hope her sacrifice won’t be in vain. Maybe Sapphire Angel can help pick her back up in return for her helping her.

We’re 7 chapters away from wrapping things up here! Most, if not all, of the bad guys are in one place (Devlin, Chappelle, Nassar.....and Valik and Mantis are probably nearby, too), Sapphire and Conner are making plans to ambush them (with Jack and Ross not involved.....ARRRGGGH, IT HURTS), and WarTech’s arsenal is just moments away from being pawned off. Let’s take ‘em to the cleaners!
