Thank you (yes, you) for sticking with me through four stories. While not anything I’ll retire off of, and while many of you are lurking silently, I shake my head in appreciation when Substack sends me an email twice a week, and I see how many people open and read each chapter.
Now that Sapphire Angel has defeated Rocco Lynch and his minions, what’s next? As the epilogue revealed, Maximus Savage is on the way to the heroine’s city with a small army of men, intent on getting revenge.
When will we see if he succeeds, or if Sapphire Angel stays on top?
Right now, I’m taking a breather. In any other time of the year, I’d be back at it in a couple of weeks, but with November and December always being crazy with many distractions, my plan is to take a two-month break. I don’t like the idea of taking a break, but it’s better for my mental health and long-term creativity. I need to recharge with no deadlines, so I can keep this train going. I remind myself that many “traditional” authors take even longer breaks between stories.
That means Sapphire Angel book five, Savage Vengeance, will launch on January 8 if all goes according to plan.
I put up a warning on the last story about certain types of extreme content, including violence, but the next story will make that one look like a children’s novel. Be warned.
Feel free to comment here, email me (I’m pretty sure you can reply to the email containing any chapter in the stories), or comment over in the chat. Thanks again.

Also, you finished “Savage Dawn” and I finished “Lightspeed” at roughly the same time!
Hey! Yeah, I get that you want to take some time to rest; I might actually think of taking a very short break myself (I love writing too much), at least until the Fall 2023 term for college ends on December 12. Then again, I might start posting earlier than that depending on my free time.
Can’t wait to see how Sapphire deals with the last remnants of the Savage Gang, but I suppose I’ll have to wait a couple of months for that. I get it, though; this is the time of year when there’s a lot of holidays going on (we just got done with Halloween, and now we’re going into things like Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, etc.).
Hope you enjoy your time off! Whenever you decide to start up again, I’ll be here! Cheers!
