We last read Chapter 43, in which Sapphire Angel creeps through the forest at night toward the tower on Xavier Wheldon’s property. She is unaware that as she gets closer, Xavier Wheldon is watching her through hidden surveillance cameras, getting his men ready to spring a trap on the heroine.
So......gas and electricity, hmm.....? Thank goodness she never ran into Monica Drevis / Shocker from my stories. Was really hoping to get to the bottom of what was up with that tower tonight, but maybe next time, I suppose.
In fact, this may actually be better; we can take care of Raven Tristan first and get her off our tail, then we can probably make another attempt on the tower later without worrying about her sneaking around.
Hmmm, a vulnerability. I'd been wondering if the field around her that stopped bullets worked against other things. I wondered what happened with heat or fire. That will reveal itself I'm sure. Sorry if I'm posting too much. I'm just really enjoying this. It seems real, not like the comic books. It's great having a hero that it's possible to identify a bit in terms of understanding they are just people like the rest of us.

......At least, that’s how I think this will go.
Moving on!
